Oxford Air Conditioning Brand definition and digital identity

A website redesign and brand focus project for Oxfordshire’s leading heating, ventilation and air conditioning company.

The Strategy

The company, Oxford Air Conditioning, wanted a distinctive and memorable digital platform, providing clarity of messaging within a busy marketplace. To support the new digital platform, we were also asked to build a content strategy that could be delivered across multiple target areas via appropriate channels. Working closely with the company we were able to gain a deep insight into the Oxford Air Conditioning.

The Challenge

Oxford Air Conditioning came to BrandAsylum looking for a specialist agency and the need for a website that is able to support their industry growth drive. The new website design and WordPress CMS build needed to also support Oxford Air Conditioning’s future plans to expand their offerings and improve conversion rates to ultimately bring in more marketing qualified leads through digital channels.

Improved UX & Site Structure

One of the challenges for Oxford Air Conditioning’s website was the site structure being ‘confused’ with a lack of clear user journey to support lead generation on the old site. As a result, the BrandAsylum team researched and planned a new, easy to use site information architecture (IA) and wireframes, which aim to simplify and optimise the user journey whilst improving conversion.

UX & Design

Oxford Air Conditioning wanted the new design to be bright, sleek, and modern. In order to achieve the desired new look and feel of the site efficiently, the BrandAsylum team created ‘moodboards’, colour palettes emulating the refreshed brand that would be applied across the site and image guidelines. Our UX team wireframed key pages and mapped these onto user journeys before moving on to the high-fidelity designs.

Mobile friendly design

Over 40% of traffic to Oxford Air Conditioning’s website comes from mobile or tablet and so mobile UX was key. It was important to make sure that any opportunities for mobile conversions were optimised.

Not only have BrandAsylum answered the brief, they have gone above and beyond helping us define and deliver our new business strategy. If you are looking for an agency that offers more and delivers on time and on budget, I couldn’t recommend the team at BrandAsylum enough
