The Brief

WMTek are a team of software engineers that build innovative solutions in advanced IOT data logger systems that can monitor using sensors integrations to send data to the cloud. They have been running for 10 years. The users access the hardware devices through a software portal where they can view the data collected configure the devices nodes and with several other features like billing data export Notifications etc. WMTek approach the BrandAsylum team to create a go to market brand for them.

The Challenge

In a crowded marketplace WMTek required a brand proposition that pulled them awy from the crowd. Running a discover stage WMTek’s owners to discover some key areas to build a narrative on, we settled on one key theme of ‘stories behind the data’. WMTek work with clients to develop clear hardware solutions to their genuine operational issues. We built this narrative/concept into the visual elements and language of the brand.

Branding results

The new brand created a dynamic system for brand imagery, that backs up the client’s main selling point. They can change this imagery depending on the subject matter across proposals, presentations, videos and internal and external brand collateral. WMTek were keen to show off the technology link, and so the fonts and style selection were focussed this way.

I can highly recommend the team at BrandAsylum. From the off the communication channels between the two teams is what drove this project. A clear flightpath to the brand proposition has truely help to form our go-to-market offering. With future products in the pipeline, we will be back for more from the BrandAsylum team.
